Beginners 8 Week Course

Cost: £224 (this includes 8 x 2.5-3hr sessions spread over 8 weeks or 3 weeks (check when booking for full days or evening sessions)

In this course you will learn how to:

• accurately measure and cut fabric for each chosen project
• use a Janome digital sewing machine
• use various sewing tools and accessories
• choose the best fabrics for different projects
• work on 5 separate home projects including a drawstring bag, pin cushion, waterproof-lined make-up bag with zip and a piped cushion with hidden zip

Included in this workshop:

• detailed notes to take home (videos for some instructions too)
• use of brand new digital Janome 230DC sewing machine
• use of measuring rulers, marking pens, scissors, etc
• access to full selection of haberdashery for making future projects

What you will need to bring:

• specified fabric for each project (I will send details for this)
• thread to match your main fabric
• your own refreshments eg coffee or tea in a flask
• and please bring your own packed lunch if you are on a full day's course
• clean shoes/slippers to wear in the sewing studio
