Learn-to-sew from the beginning; measuring, cutting, using a sewing machine and lots of top tips along the way.

Cost: £224 (this includes 8 x 2.5-3hr sessions spread over 8 weeks or 3 weeks (check when booking for full days or evening sessions)

In this course you will learn how to:
- accurately measure and cut fabric for each chosen project
- use a Janome digital sewing machine
- use various sewing tools and accessories
- choose the best fabrics for different projects
- work on 5 separate home projects including a drawstring bag, pin cushion, waterproof-lined make-up bag with zip and a piped cushion with hidden zip
Included in this workshop:
- detailed notes to take home (videos for some instructions too)
- use of brand new digital Janome 230DC sewing machine
- use of measuring rulers, marking pens, scissors, etc
- access to full selection of haberdashery for making future projects
What you will need to bring:
- specified fabric for each project (I will send details for this)
- thread to match your main fabric
- your own refreshments eg coffee or tea in a flask
- and please bring your own packed lunch if you are on a full day's course
- clean shoes/slippers to wear in the sewing studio
